Nina Iżycka jest ilustratorką i artystką wizualną pochodzącą z Warszawy, obecnie mieszkającą w Barcelonie. W swoich projektach i w życiu lubi wymyślać i opowiadać historie. Tworzy organiczne obrazy, w których przekształca rzeczywistość na swój sposób. Jej prace są poetyckie i symboliczne; mają na celu rozbudzenie wrażliwości i empatii, wyrażając jednocześnie nonkonformizm i krytykę społeczną. Nina wykorzystuje ilustracje do przekazywania wartości dotyczących szacunku i wsparcia między ludźmi, zwierzętami i naturą. Eksperymentuje z tradycyjnymi i cyfrowymi technikami, łącząc tekstury, jednolite kolory i elementy kolażu. Dużo pracuje z technikami druku, głównie sitodrukiem i tworzy art booki, ziny, printy i inne graficzne obiekty papierowe.

The silkscreen print "Postaci warszawskie" (Warsaw Figures) by Nina Iżycka is constructed from figures taken from various Warsaw sculptures in the urban space. It builds a scene where the figures meet each other and create different connections and interactions through their presence. Nina selects those sculptures that are dear to her heart—those that, in her opinion, better represent the city and its female and male inhabitants than monuments to politicians and soldiers. The work is a tribute to figures usually relegated to the background by the authorities and the main ideological current. It draws attention to and grants importance to such figures in the public space as women, children, and animals. It highlights the significance of art, play, and education in our lives, and values the everyday and simplicity.

Nina Iżycka is an illustrator and visual artist from Warsaw, currently living in Barcelona. In her projects and in life, she likes to invent and tell stories. She creates organic images in which she transforms reality in her own way. Her works are poetic and symbolic; they aim to awaken sensitivity and empathy while expressing nonconformism and social criticism. Nina uses illustrations to convey values concerning respect and support among people, animals, and nature. She experiments with traditional and digital techniques, combining textures, solid colors, and collage elements. She works extensively with printing techniques, mainly screen printing, and creates artist books, zines, prints, and other graphic paper objects.
