The silkscreen print "Alga" by Julie Legrand has its genesis in the depths of the Mediterranean Sea and the "Alga" exhibition, which took place at Kwiaciarnia Grafiki (Graphic Flower Shop).

Julie Legrand is an illustrator, screen printer, and graphic designer living and working in Sète. She is passionate about printed images and micro-publishing, preferring traditional techniques and using drawing and fanzines as a medium for her imagination. Screen printing is her favorite technique, and she uses her skills both in her own work and during educational workshops she leads at Atelier Cagnard, a multidisciplinary space where she is a resident and co-founder. A lover of still life and inspired by culinary traditions and food in general, as well as daily life, the rural world, and the objects found there, Julie constructs visual narratives around intimacy and the everyday, dedicating herself to retranscribing their content and memories.
